 customer   we  had  provided below
 some important information related 
 to custom clearance in Saudi Arabia.

 
 Procedure:

• SEA FREIGHT IMPORT SHIPMENTS:

 10 days of free-time is allowed by all the concerned authorities to custom clear and
 pullout the Seafreight shipments. Thereafter, Demurrage @ SR20/- per day per  ton
 is applicable. If documents are in order, it takes maximum 4 working days to custom
 custom clear a Seafreight shipment. 

• AIR FREIGHT IMPORT SHIPMENTS:

 Normally custom cleared within 2 working days from the date of arrival.
 
 Documentation Import
 For both Sea and Air import shipments, following documents are required: 

• Original Bill of Lading / Airway Bill.
• Certificate of Origin duly attested from the Chamber of Commerce in the country of
  .. .origin.
• Original Commercial As Invoice duly attested from the Chamber of Commerce in the
  .. .country of origin

 Packing List

• SASO (Saudi Arabian Standards Organization) Certificate (wherever applicable).
• Authorization Letter from the Consignee in Arabic in favor of the Custom Broker,
  .. .duly attested from the Chamber of Commerce.
• Copy of the C.R. (Commercial Registration) of the Consignee.
• Authorization to Import (wherever applicable).

 Documentation Export:
 For Sea export shipments:

• Commercial Invoice.
• Certificate of Origin (for Saudi products).
• Arabic Packing List duly attested from the Chamber of Commerce.

 Packing List
 For Air export shipments:

• Commercial invoice.
• Certificate of Origin (for Saudi products)
